PURPOSE:To improve generating efficiency with strength increased as well as a make peeling from a solid electrolyte layer hardly taken place by irradiating laser light onto the unwanted section of the films of a fuel electrode and an air electrode so as to eliminate said unwanted section, and thereby forming an electrode pattern in a desired shape. CONSTITUTION:A film 5 as this as 5 to 10mum made of lanthanum cobaltite for a fuel cell is formed on one surface of a solid electrolyte layer 1 as thin as about 100m made of yttrium stabilized zirconia by means of vapor deposition. Then, a film 6 as this as 5 to 10mum made of nickel oxide for an air electrode is formed on the other surface of the solid electrolyte layer 1 by means of vapor deposition. Then, laser light is irradiated onto the film 5 for the fuel electrode and the film 6 for the air electrode so that unwanted films are gasified so as to be removed. By this constitution, an electrode, that is, a fuel electrode 2 (air electrode 3) which has an electrode pattern for example, is formed on the solid electrolyte layer 1. |
