<p>PURPOSE:To improve work efficiency of transporting a stack in a stack transport apparatus attached to a transfer press by vertically reversing the stack efficiently and preventing slippage of the stack at the time of reversion. CONSTITUTION:After a stack (a) is located and placed on a roller conveyer 11 of a stack receiving station 8, the conveyer 11 is driven to transfer the stack (a) onto the first conveyer 21 of a reversing and aligning mechanism 9. Then, when the leading end of the stack (a) is brought into contact with a stopper 26, the second roller conveyer 22 is lowered by a cylinder 25 to clamp the stack (a) between the conveyers 21, 22. In such a condition, a disc 14 is turned in a 90 deg. arc, and then the cylinder 25 is a little contracted to unclamp the stack (a), one end thereof being dropped and brought into contact with the stopper 26 to be aligned. After that, the stack (a) is again clamped to further turn the disc 14 in 90 deg. arc, which results in that the stack is reversed vertically to be carried out to the distacker B side by the conveyer 22.</p> |
