PURPOSE: To determine soundness of a check value based on the travel length of piston's stroke by time-measuring a small capacity between the starting and the ending points of stroke of a piston. CONSTITUTION: A quick-opening toggle 72 is opened. The toggle triggers a micro switch 74 so that a timer 76 is started. At the same time, as the capacity of a piston 64 is started to be filled, a fluid begins to flow from a conduit 19, through a separating value 42 and a quick-opening value 71, to a piston/ cylinder 60. Assuming that a check value 22 is operating safely, when a ball 26 comes to an upper position 30, the flow from a piston P to the conduit 19 should stop. The stop of flow, wherein operation of the check value 22 is assumed, should take place before the piston 64 shifts completely by one stroke up to a micro switch 66. By finding the capacity based an the stroke of the position 64 inside a cylinder 62, a pass reference for testing the check value 22 is set easily.
