A specially profiled band is intended to be designed such that a "single-part, multiply adjustable pipe-securing means" is obtained, the intention being for no additional parts to be used in the region of the closure. The closing or opening procedure is intended to be effected by means of a screwdriver or similar article, an inwardly inclined closure protrustion engaging into a special profile band. In this arrangement, the screwdriver or similar article is to be guided such that injury is ruled out completely. Said single-part, multiply adjustable pipe-securing means is, furthermore, capable, by virtue of its adjustability, of drastically reducing the need for special sizes of pipe-securing means. All these requirements can be totally fulfilled by this invention cleanly, simply and cost-effectively.
