PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment and operation of a boring depth by pressing a wedge body between a depth gauge which is held so as to freely move in a tool boring direction and a body. CONSTITUTION:A depth gauge 3 is fixed to a boring tool body via an auxiliary handle 2, and a gauge lever 29 which is turned around the gauge 3 as a support shaft is supported with the gauge 3 in the boring direction of the boring tool and between two lugs 27. The lever 29 is supported with the gauge 3 in a cutout cylindrical area 31 a part of which is provided with a cutout 30. When the lever 29 is operated, a wedge body 32 formed in the cylindrical area 31 enters a clearance between the depth gauge 3 and an auxiliary handle casing area 33 as the body 1, so that the wedge body 32 presses the gauge 3 to deflect it. Consequently, the gauge 3 can be fixed in a predetermined discretionary position. |
