发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF BATTERY ELECTRODE PLATE
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent fluffing, burring, and slipping-off of active substance without causing increase of manufacturing processes by performing manufacture of an electrode plate for battery having three-dimensional porous substance in such a manner that severance is made while melting is performed by laser beam. CONSTITUTION:Manufacture of electrode plate consisting of three-dimensional porous substance consists of two steps, i.e., a process to fill this porous substance having electric conductivity directly with active substance and a process to cut it into specified shapes. When the porous substance is melted and cut by a laser beam in this No. 2 step, the skeleton of the porous substance is melted at the cutting part and swollen greatly so as to enclose the active substance, part of which is thus melted with the skeleton. Therefore, no fluff or burrs will be generated at the cutting part. Accordingly there is no increase in processes, and slipping off of electrode and shortcircuiting after battery assembly will be prevented.
