摘要 PURPOSE:To hold electrolyte easily by fabricating an electrode body using an electrode catalyst layer, which is smaller than the inside of an electrode frame, and an electrode wire meshing greater than the same, pinching the two sides of matrix by this electrode body, and thereby holding the electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 3, 8 are formed by putting a 100mm square electrode catalyst 1 in pressure contact with one or both sides of a 110mm square electrode wire meshing 2, while electrode frames 4, 5, 9, 10 are composed of glass fiber reinforced epoxy resin prepreg. subjected to pre-processing. These electrodes 3, 8 and frames 4, 5, 9, 10 are together with matrix 11 and a matrix frame 12 subjected to hot press to constitute a consolidated body, and thus an electrode body is fabricated, wherein the thickness of the frames 4, 5 shall be the same the electrode 3. Also the electrode 8 and matrix 11 shall be equally thick. The inside of the frames 4, 5 is cut off into 104mm square. Accordingly a 2mm gap is generated between the frames 4, 5 and catalyst 1 to allow the matrix 11 to retain the electrolyte easily. This is filled with epoxy resin to prevent electrolyte from leakage.
