PURPOSE:To absorb pressure pulsation which accompanies opening of a discharge valve, that is, temporarily occurs between a cylinder and a valve cover after gas inside the cylinder is compressed to open the discharge valve by providing a noise supressing means for releasing the pulsated pressure, whereby reducing high frequency noise. CONSTITUTION:After gas inside a cylinder 9a is compressed to open a discharge valve 12, the gas is released into a valve cover 13 via both a discharging notched part 16 and a discharging port 17, said part 16 being cut out on the corner of the upper face of cylinder 9a and coinciding with the discharging port 17 while said port 17 being made on a main bearing 10. A plusated pressure is created between a valve cover 13 and te compression gas chamber inside the cylinder 9a. A roller 8, on the other hand, is turned until the contact position thereof inside the cylinder 9a coincides with a releasing recess 18a of a semicircular section formed from the upper end face to the lower end face of the cylinder 9a, and then the compression chamber and an intake gas chamber may be communicated with each other. The pulsated pressure in the compression gas chamber is therefore released and absorbed in the intake gas chamber, hence reducing high frequency noise. |
