The covering comprises a cover sheet (11) provided on its lateral edges (12,12a) and on its transverse edges (14,15) with elements (17,19 and 16,21) respectively for attachment to a rucksack. These elements comprises variable length the cords passing through eyelets (18) and provide attachment loops (23,24) which connects buckles and straps on the rucksack. Other elements (16,17) comprises straps that pass through buckles (27) on the rucksack.
