METHOD FOR PRODUCING GENERAL-PURPOSE STEEL

The method provides for smelting a carbon steel semi-finished product in a steel-smelting plant, discharging it into the ladle, feeding to the ladle slag-forming materials, a reducer and prior heat-treated oxidizing materials containing alloying elements. The feeding of said oxidizing materials starts when no less than 0.25 but no more than 0.5 of the weight of the carbon steel semi-finished product is discharged, is continued in the course of the discharging of said semi-finished product, and is finished before the end of discharging of the carbon steel semi-finished product. The feeding of the reducer starts after the end of the discharging of said oxiziding materials and is finished before the end of discharging of the carbon steel semi-finished product.
