The sleeve, bush or socket is used to weld joints in pipework, drainage systems, moulded details, valves, etc. The electrical resistance wire can be connected directly to a supply circuit without any controls being necessary. - The resistance of the wire is adapted to the diameter the sleeve and is a value which decreases as the diameter of of the sleeve increases. The size of the wire is a function of the sleeve diameter and increases correspondingly with it, ranging from 0.1 -0.35mm. - No welding plant or control equipment is necessary, a public supply of 220 volts is sufficient. The sleeves are dimensioned so that defective welds are ruled out almost completely. |
