PURPOSE:To obtain a laser probe which can apply laser light to the wide range in a simple structure and is excellent in durability by providing a laser transmitting member having a recess where the surface for reflecting laser light in the direction different from the emitting direction of laser light in front of the emitting end of a laser guide. CONSTITUTION:A substantially cylindrical laser transmitting member 10 is formed by a member which has heat-resistance and transmits laser light A such as artificial sapphire (Al2O3) or the like, and a recess 12 is provided in the center of the opposite surface to the surface confronting with the emitting end 2a of a laser guide 2. The recess 12 is formed by a conical surface 12a, with the axial middle of the laser transmitting member 10 as the base, and the angle of inclination of the conical surface 12a is set not to exceed the critical angle for reflecting the laser light A, so that the conical surface 12a is used as the reflecting surface, thereby applying a part or the whole of the laser light A emitted from the laser guide 2 to the outer peripheral side of the laser transmitting member 10. |
