PURPOSE:To improve operability by a method wherein a different hydraulic valve to actuate a steering mechanism is remotely controllably mounted to a hydraulic circuit to actuate the steering mechanism and in juxtaposition to a hydraulic control unit operated through manual control. CONSTITUTION:During inoperation of a steering device, oil in an oil passage 9 is returned through a hydraulic valve 13 and a rotary valve 5 to a tank 8. Meanwhile, with a steering handle 4 operated manually, a rotary valve 5 with which a hydraulic control unit 3 is formed is switched, oil is fed through oil passages 11 and 12 to a hydraulic cylinder 1 by means of a metering mechanism 6 to steer a steering mechanism. In this case, through remote control of a change-over switch 14, the hydraulic valve 13 is changed over. Oil is fed through a plurality of oil passages 16 and 17 to the hydraulic cylinder 1. Namely, the steering mechanism is individually actuated by means of the hydraulic control unit 3 and the hydraulic valve 13. |
