Method for controlling the hydraulic brake pressure for a vehicle

Following a reduction of the hydraulic brake pressure in a vehicle when braking, the said pressure is gradually increased if the vehicle speed has become greater than a reference speed. The rate of increase of the hydraulic brake pressure is thereby moderate if the vehicle speed has become less than a reference value, as a result of which any impairment of the braking feel due to a rapid increase of the hydraulic brake pressure for one wheel brake is prevented.
