PURPOSE:To obtain the subject inexpensive product, capable of sustaining effects of Gynostemma pentaphyllum Makino, suppressing odor and bitterness peculiar to the Gynostemma pentaphyllum Makino with flavor or taste of unpolished rice, facilitating drinking and good in flavor, by mixing Hydrangea leaves prepared from the Gynostemma pentaphyllum Makino with roasted unpolished rice. CONSTITUTION:Leaves or vines of Gynostemma pentaphyllum Makino are initially steamed, rubbed and then dried in the sun or a dryer. The dried leaves or vines are subsequently roasted to provide Hydrangea leaves, which are then mixed with roasted unpolished rice to afford the objective product. |
