PURPOSE:To certainly set telephone numbers in corresponding to service areas by storing plural registered telephone numbers by correlating them to system numbers and extracting a system number from system information sent from a base station, and then, making an outgoing or incoming call based on a corresponding telephone number. CONSTITUTION:An automobile telephone system 100 is constituted of an antenna 200, radio equipment 300, and telephone set 400 and, when the system 100 discriminates that the user of the system 100 wants to make an originating call and catches an originating call controlling channel, sends originating call signals containing at least the telephone number information of the called subscribed set by the user through the channel. Simultaneously, an audio/ control section 330 collates the system number held and stored by the section 330 with the system numbers registered in an IDROM 370. When the system number coincides with one of the registered system numbers, the section 330 sends originating call signals by using the telephone number corresponding to the system number. Thereafter, the answer signal contained in system information sent from the base station through a channel A is received and it is confirmed that the originating call signals are sent. Then line connection is made with the called subscriber based on the telephone number information contained in the originating call signals. |
