PURPOSE:To enlarge and copy the picture image of a film with high picture quality while transmitting the enlarged and copied picture image to a remote place by enlarging and projecting the picture image on the film through an optical means, optically reading the picture image formed onto a recording material through a recording means, converting the picture image into an electric signal and modulating the electric signal so as to be transmitted over a communication circuit. CONSTITUTION:A latent image is formed on the basis of a projection picture image proportional to the picture image density of a microfilm F continuously exposed onto a sensitizing drum 9A through an electro-statographic process in a sensitizing drum unit 9, and changed into a toner image, and the toner image is printed out onto recording paper fed from a paper-feed tray 10. A picture image is read from the upper section of recording paper P by a reading scanning section 14 immediately before a paper-discharge roller 12, a picture image electric signal acquired is encoded by an encoding section 15, and the encoded signal is guided to a transmission control section 17 by a control section 16, and modulated by the section 17 and output to the outside by a general telephone line 18. |
