A power transmission for a tractor comprises a travel drive line for driving differential means (101) from an engine crank shaft (1), and a PTO drive line for driving a PTO output shaft (69) from the engine crank shaft. The travel drive line includes a running-travel main shaft (3) connected to the engine crank shaft through a running- travel clutch (8), forward rotation clutch means (10) and backward rotation clutch means (11). The PTO drive line includes a PTO main shaft (41) connected to a casing of the running-travel clutch connected to the engine crank shaft, whereby an engine output is directly transmitted to the PTO main sheft. The PTO transmission shaft carries either one of the lutch means. |
