<p>In a saddle pillar resiliently mounted on a bicycle frame in the direction of the rear axle, the resilient part is fixed in the upper end of a guide tube on the rear frame stay pointing in the direction of the rear wheel axle. The resilient part is provided with a newly developed anti-torsion lock such that the torsional forces cancel each other out in a common centre of rotation, without friction, and with a specially developed pneumatic spring or other steel spring mounted outside the saddle pillar, both of which have a flat characteristic curve.</p> |
