DYNAMICALLY VULCANIZED, MODIFIED, HYDROGENATED BLOCK COPOLYMER COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition excellent in mechanical strengths, heat resistance and oil resistance by dynamically vulcanizing a mixture comprising a specified modified hydrogenated block copolymer, a polyolefin resin and an olefin copolymer rubber with a specified thermosetting resin under kneading in a heat-molten state. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. modified hydrogenated block copolymer composition comprising 100 pts.wt. modified hydrogenated block copolymer prepared by bonding molecular units having a carboxyl group or its derivative group to a hydrogenated block copolymer obtained by hydrogenating a block copolymer comprising a polymer block A based on a vinylaromatic compound and a polymer block B based on a conjugated diene compound, 20-500 pts.wt. polyolefin resin and 5-150 pts.wt. olefin copolymer rubber is mixed with 0.5-30 pts.wt. reactive alkylphenol/formaldehyde resin and dynamically vulcanized therewith by kneading in a heat-molten state to obtain a modified hydrogenated block copolymer composition. The obtained title composition is excellent in mechanical strengths, heat resistance and oil resistance.
