PURPOSE:To prevent a retainer main body from slipping off by providing a circular hook portion formed following a ring portion in such a manner that the length of the periphery of the hook portion except its open portion is larger than the length of a semicircle of a cylinder, pushing the hook portion in a recess portion and hooking the hook portion on a bump stopper. CONSTITUTION:In a retainer main body (a), its ring portion 12 is hooked on a step portion 19 of the lower portion of an end bolt 18 of a piston rod 17, and under such a condition, a shock absorber is compressed. A cylinder 10 is forcedly pushed in an open portion 16 against the elastic force of a hook portion 15 to bring a circular arc portion of the hook portion 15 into contact with the outer periphery of a recess portion 20 of the cylinder 10 and hook the hook portion on the lower surface of a bomp stopper 11. Under such a condition, when the compressive force of the shock absorber is released, the elongation force of the shock absorber works on the retainer main body (a) to apply tension to leg portions 13, 14. The tension is applied in the direction of closing the open portion 16, so that the cylinder 10 is muffled up by the circular arc portion of the hook portion 15. |
