PURPOSE:To avoid production of an incomplete file by writing a changed file into an idle area of a system data base and then changing the address of a file control table into the address which is written into the changed file. CONSTITUTION:When the file of a system data base is changed, the changed file is written first into an idle area of the system data base. Then the address of a file control table 11 is changed into the address where the changed file is written from the address where an original file is written. Thus the address of a file control table 21 shows the address of the unchanged file despite occurrence such a fault where a power supply of a device is cut while the changed file is written. |
