PURPOSE: To facilitate the insertion of a pipe into a coupling device by forming a stopper ring with both small and large diametral sections, and making each level differential part of these sections come into contact with the shoulder part of a third hollow chamber, while regulating an opening side end of the large diametral section by means of a supporting ring. CONSTITUTION: A stopper ring 9 is comprised of a small diametral section 24 and a large diametral section 11 which is fitted in a third expanded hollow chamber 12, and a level-differential part 60 is firmly retained at a shoulder part 13 of this hollow chamber 12. In addition, an inner circumferential surface 61 of this level-differential part 60 is formed into a tapered form in correspondence with a tongue piece 16. A supporting ring 17 is fitted in the inner part of an expanded hollow chamber 18, namely, fitted in space between a left end face 19 of the large diametral section 11 and an inner surface of four hooked projections 21. |
