PURPOSE:To prevent toner from falling on an image formation body and scattering and sticking on its peripheral part by fitting or integrating a toner fall preventive member with an elastic control blade or blade support member below the thin film formation part of the developing device in the circulation direction of a developer. CONSTITUTION:The toner fall preventive member 7 is provided on the side where the elastic control blade 2 of the developing device is fitted to the elastic control blade support member 4, and this preventive member 7 and the top surface of the blade 2 form a V-shaped space, which continues like a groove in the direction of the rotary shaft of the developing sleeve. Then an elastic thin plate of Mylar(R), etc., is used as the preventive member 7 and separated toner is stopped by the preventive member 7 to stay in the V-shaped groove, thereby forming a clean image without causing the toner to fall on the image formation body 5. |
