The card material is fed through two paris of rollers which perforate the material, and then past two stations where plastics foil is extruded onto the two sides of the material. After the extrusion process, the enclosed material is fed past a pair of rotating knives positioned on either sides of the material path which trim the edges. The material is then fed to a cutting station, where it is cut into small rectangles, which are each fed to a folding station where the rectangles are folded into tubes. |
