The aerials may be vertical dipoles by one-tenth to one-half of the operating wavelength. To compensate for varying wavelength a cable of known length may be utilized, Fig. 4 (not shown). A third aerial may be employed, a selection being made of two of the three. The bearing indicator may be a circular display of, e.g. 72 lamps. |
