PURPOSE:To improve the durability of a synthetic resin lens by providing a thin resin film and cured silicone film to the surface of the lens made of a specific synthetic resin and further, providing an antireflection layer consisting of an inorg. compd. on the surface layer thereof. CONSTITUTION:The thin resin film which consists essentially of a copolymer of an acrylic and/or methacrylic compd. and arom. vinyl compd. and has 0.1-2mum film thickness is provided on the surface of the lens made of the synthetic resin obtd. by copolymerizing the comonomers expressed by the formula I and the formula II and the cured silicone film which is formed by heating and curing the compsn. essentially consisting of the colloidal silica of 1-100mum grain size expressed by the formula III and magnesium perchlorate and has 1-10mum film thickness is provided on the surface layer thereof; further, the antireflection layer consisting of the inorg. compd. is provided thereon. In the formula, R<3> denotes -(O-CH2-CH) O-, etc.; n denotes 1-3; R<4> denotes an org. group having an epoxy group; R<5> denotes a hydrocarbon group of 1-4C; R<6> denotes an alkoxy group, etc., a is 0 or 1. The durability is thereby improved. |
