PURPOSE:To enable a needle pipe to be broken after use when bending moment greater than specified one is applied so as to be disposed of by forming a vulnerable section in proximity to the tip end face of the hub of the needle pipe. CONSTITUTION:A needle pipe assembly is formed in such a way that a vulnerable section 3 shall be located on the back side of the cut surface at the tip end of a needle pipe 1. After use, the needle pipe 1 is put into a broken piece disposal box with the needle pipe assembly left in a syringe as it is, and the syringe is held while being tilted in such a way that a needle point is stabbed in the bottom of the box, and when bending moment greater than specified one is applied with the vulnerable section 3 directed downward, stresses are concentrated at the vulnerable section 3 so that the needle pipe 1 is easily broken in such a state as being opened at the vulnerable section 3. Following which, a hub 2 is removed from the syringe so as to be disposed of into the broken piece disposal box. Hence, this constitution eliminates action to house the needle pipe into a protector again, in which it has been housed before use, thereby preventing the needle pipe from pricking fingers and the like by mistake. |
