The subject matter of the invention is an electrical switch, especially a steering column switch for motor vehicles, having a switching lever whose handle part is constructed hollow and which has a base body on which two shells are mounted which are split along the switching lever. Such a construction makes design using plastics possible and makes it possible to manufacture the parts using simple tools.
