Device for decentralised data processing, and method of loading programs for it

In a decentralised data processing system, in which a number of processors (101 to 108) are connected via a network, and in which programs can be exchanged among the processors, each of the processors monitors the state of its own programs, and the load on the other processors, as it is shown by a message (1) on the network, and according to its assessment outputs a message (2), which gives its own state, or contains a program with a content which is shown by a code in a received message. The processor which receives the message transmits a program which is held in it according to the program content code, corresponding to the load on the processors, etc., and the assessment of the content of the received message. Each processor determines whether it needs a transmitted program, and loads and executes the program if required. <IMAGE>
