Antenna system for broadcast radio reception in motor vehicles

In the case of the multiple antenna system for broadcast radio reception in motor vehicles, at least one of the individual antennas, which have different horizontal antenna polar diagrams, is a travelling wave antenna. The bumpers, decorative strips and parts of a roofrack are particularly suitable parts of a vehicle for implementing such travelling-wave antennas on the motor vehicle. A structurally particularly simple travelling-wave antenna is produced by using a metal surface of the bodywork as an opposing line.
