The rest chamber for proving dough in bread-making displays buckets of water-wheel type mounted on carriers whose ends incorporate trapeze parts engaging with a means of rotating them, so that each carrier is turned over at a given moment by the trapeze sliding around a grooved sheave mounted on the shaft of a transmission pinion.
