<p>PURPOSE:To simplify and miniaturize constitution, by controlling the generation of heat of a resistor element using a multioutput type thin membrane transistor. CONSTITUTION:Integrated circuits 7-1, 7-2... mainly constituted of shift registers are connected to the common terminal of membrane transistors 8-1, 8-2... through connection lines 6-1, 6-2... and a color developing order signal is serially and successively transmitted to the next transistor in predetermined order. A change-over control signal is cyclically sent to each of the control terminals of the membrane transistors 8-1, 8-2... from a single common control integrated circuit 9. When the gates and sources of the thin membrane transistors 8-1, 8-2... are subjected to the application of a signal in an overlapped state so as to bring the transistors to a continuity state, outputs are obtained from output terminals to control the generation of heat of heat generating resistor elements 3-11, 3-12.... The next thin membrane transistor is controlled at the next time and the drive circuit of a heat generating element is selectively controlled by a cyclic gate signal. Therefore, color printing is obtained on a heat- sensitive paper 1. By this method, the constitution can be simplified and miniaturized.</p> |
