PURPOSE:To certainly separate a transfer sheet from a photosensitive body after transferring treatment is finished by attaching very small quantity of toner to the edging part of an image formation area across width direction. CONSTITUTION:The transfer sheet P is overlapped with the photosensitive body 2 in the way that a sheet edge P1 is coincided with an image formation area edge M. In this case, very small quantity of toner is forcedly attached in advance to an image formation area edging part zone N. Accordingly, the edging part of the transfer sheet P is not adhered directly to the photosensitive body 2. It is overlapped with the photosensitive body 2 with very small quantity of toner between them, and a gap with toner thickness is formed between the edging part of the transfer sheet P and the photosensitive body 2. Thus attraction power between the transfer sheet P and the photosensitive body 2 is weakened by the gap, and the separation of the transfer sheet is performed certainly. |
