摘要 PURPOSE:To enable to hold the steady flame shape retention even under oxygen deficient condition by a method wherein the opening area of air holes located lower than air regulating rings on an inner cylinder an an outer cylinder are made larger at the near side than the far side of the air regulating rings. CONSTITUTION:Concerning air holes 2a' located lower than an air regulating ring 7 of an outer flame cylinder 2, the opening area of an air hole 2a'' located nearby the air regulating ring 7 is formed larger than an air hole 2a''' located further lower than the air hole 2a''. Further, concerning air holes 1a' located lower than an air regulating plate 9 of an inner flame cylinder 1, the opening area of an air hole 1a''' located nearby the air regulating plate 9 is formed larger than an air hole 1a''' located further lower than the air hole 1a''. Therefore, in said structure, even though the draft in a space 5 between the inner and outer cylinders is made weaker than normal condition under the oxygen deficient condition, because of the largeness of the air hole 2a'' opening area located nearby the air regulating ring, the air is sufficiently flowed into the space 5 between the inner and outer cylinders in spite of the weak draft as shown by arrow marks. Accordingly, the air is mixed with a kerosene vapor evaporated from a wick B, then the flame shape retention is continued on the air hole 2a''.
