In a device for drying pourable goods, in particular vegetables or tobacco leaves, several screens are arranged on a slant one above the other in a housing through which an air current can be passed. The screens can be put into essentially vertical vibration with the aid of a vibration generator, and are mutually offset so that when the goods to be dried leave one screen, they fall onto the one below it.
