The present invention relates to a venting valve for a tank. This valve essentially includes a body 10 provided with an internal cavity 11 which communicates with the tank by means of an inlet orifice 12 and with the outside air by means of an outlet orifice 13. The cavity 11 defines a first housing 16 containing a lower spherical element 14 and a second housing 17 containing an upper spherical element 15. These elements are arranged respectively to obstruct the inlet orifice 12 and the outlet orifice 13 in any position whatsoever of the body 10. This valve is provided for venting fuel tanks for motor vehicles. <IMAGE>
