PURPOSE:To facilitate the fixing of a shape memory spring and reduce the cost by using a supporting member made of thermoplastic resin and melting the thermoplastic resin to fix a shape memory spring to this supporting member. CONSTITUTION:Thermoplastic resin, e.g., polyphenylene sulfide, polyether imide, is used for a supporting member 7 which is a fitting mate of a shape memory spring 6. When the shape memory spring 6 is to be fitted to the supporting member 7, the spring 6 is inserted into the groove 7A of the supporting member 7 and slightly pressed or temporarily fixed with an adhesive or the like, then a build-up section 7C is heated to its melting temperature, the melted thermoplastic resin is put in notch sections 6A of the spring 6 or below lugs 6B in the groove 7A to be integrated with the supporting member 7. |
