PURPOSE:To obtain the titled ceramics having excellent ionic conductivity, bending strength, toughness and heat resistance, by blending Nb or an Nb based substance at a specific ratio in ZrO2. CONSTITUTION:The titled ceramics obtained by blending one or more of Nb or an Nb based substance (e.g. Nb2O5) at 0.3-25% weight ratio and, as necessary, an adequate amount of a stabilizer (Y2O3) in ZrO2 and forming a solid solution by a calcining method under ordinary pressure. |
