PURPOSE:To prevent a data from being peculated by outputting a random number to scramble an input data and descrambling the scrambled input data. CONSTITUTION:In receiving a data from a card reader 21, a scrambling means 25 of a POS device 20 reads a random number N from a random number storage means 24 to scramble a credit data by the random number and the result is outputted to an interface device 10. The inputted scramble data 32 is descrambled by a descramble means 17, ciphered again by a 1st ciphering means 14 and sent to an external computer through a MODEM 13 and a public telephone circuit C while securing confidentiality. |
