<p>PURPOSE:To perform high quality printing, by positioning the light non-blocking part of a liquid crystal shutter array element at a place other than the opening angle of a refractive index distribution type lens. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal printer head is constituted of a light source lamp 31, a liquid crystal light shutter array element 32 and a refractive index distribution type lens array 33 and it is necessary to block light always at an area other than the microshutter part on the liquid crystal light shutter array element 33. The refractive index distribution type lens array 33 has an angle of a visual field and forms the image within the range thereof. Therefore, when part not blocked from light is present out of the range of the angle of the visual field of the lens array 33, light other than necessary one is not guided and a photosensitive body is not exposed. As mentioned above, when the light non-blocking part 7 other than the microshutter part is placed out of the visual field range of the refractive index distribution type lens array 33, the area other than an unnecessary part of the photosensitive body is not exposed, good quality printing is obtained.</p> |
