The rotating electric machine and more particularly the alternator 1 for motor vehicle includes a rotor 10 revolving inside a stator 20, which is clamped between two end flanges 30 and 40, each of which carries a ball bearing 31, 41 carrying the shaft 19 of the rotor 10.
