The bundling machine knotter has a slot between top and bottom beaks, while an ejector arm works with the knotter and has a groove at the free end. In the final stage of the bundling operation, the arm groove directs the cord in it at the max. possible angle w.r.t. the knotter slot. The groove and the slot have previously been brought to the same level under the effect of the knotting torque. The mechanism is actuated by a cam wheel with lobes. |
