PURPOSE:To constitute a new system in coorporation with a main body into which a card is inserted by permitting an integrated circuit to output control signals of resetting and interruption request so as to control the system. CONSTITUTION:When the card 10 is inserted into the receptacle of the main body 30, they are mutually connected through the terminal 12 of the card 10 and that of the receptacle, and reset signals are transmitted and received through the reset terminal of a pin No.36 in the terminal 12, whereby synchronization with the main body 10 is attained. Picture data is read from a video RAM 16 in the card 10, and it is given to a video color encoder 36 through a video display controller 35. The video color encoder 36 generates composite signals based on picture data and gives them to a CRT 37 so as to display them. A CPU 20 in the card 10 requests the main body 30 of interruption through the interruption request terminal of a pin No.37 in the terminal 12, executes display and generates a message by sound. Thus, the new system can be constituted in coorporation with the main body. |
