PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition improved in thermal stability, light resistance and tint, by incorporating each specific phenol compound and organic phosphite compound in a catalyst residue-contg. polyolefin prepared using a Ziegler type catalyst. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating 100pts.wt. of a catalyst residue-contg. polyolefin prepared using a Ziegler type catalyst with (A) 0.005-1pt.wt. of a phenol compound of formula I (R is mono- - tetrahydric alcohol residue; R1 is methyl or t-butyl, n is 1-4) (e.g. 3,5-di-t- butyl-4-hydroxy-phenyl propionic acid octadecyl ester) and (B) 0.05-1pt.wt. of an organic phosphite compound of formula II [R2 is alkyl, -COOR3 (R3 is alkyl, aryl, etc.), etc.] [e.g. bis(2,6-di-t-butyl-4-methylphenyl)pentaerythritol diphosphite]. |
