PURPOSE:To obtain the titled O/W emulsion type remover for cosmetics, having excellent removing effects on makeup cosmetics and refreshing touch of use without imparting irritation to the skin or eyes, by emulsifying a specific low- boiling solvent with a specific amount of a carboxyvinyl polymer. CONSTITUTION:An O/W emulsion type remover for makeup cosmetics, containing (A) 21-70wt.%, preferably 22-60wt.% low-boiling silicone oil having preferably <=250 deg.C boiling point (e.g. chain dimethylpolysiloxane, octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane or decamethylcyclopentasiloxane having a low polymerization degree) and fluorinated hydrocarbons, e.g. trichloromonofluoromethane, 1,1,2,2-tetrachlorodifluoroethane or 1,1,2- trichlorotrifluoroethane, which assume a liquid state at ordinary temperature (20 deg.C) and (B) about 0.01-2.0wt.% carboxyvinyl polymer and having the above- mentioned effects. |
