<p>Auxiliary starting device for a motor vehicle allowing the vehicle to be started in the event of a failure of the main system. It comprises additional means (23, 29, 31), fitted on a driving element (1) and a driven element (17) respectively, allowing a driving element (1) to be temporarily driven by the driven element (17) until such time as the speed of the driving element is greater than that of the driven element. The driven element carries an axial finger (23) which slides in a radial slot (19) between a drive position in which it is in contact with a lug (31) carried by the driving element and a rest position in which it is distanced from this lug. <IMAGE></p> |
