PURPOSE:To obtain a hair cosmetic capable of providing durable smoothness free from greasiness of hair, using both a cationic surface active agent and a starch hydrolyzate fatty acid ester. CONSTITUTION:A hair cosmetic containing (A) 0.05-10wt.%, especially 0.1-5wt.% cationic surface active agent, especially quaternary ammonium salt-based and/or amino acid-based cationic surface active agent and (B) 0.05-10wt.%, especially 0.1-5wt.% starch hydrolyzate fatty acid ester having an average polymerization degree of preferably 10-50 glucose units, especially 15-40 glucose units and an average ester substitution degree per anhydrous glucose unit thereof of preferably >=1, especially >=1.5 as essential components and capable of providing the above-mentioned effects in any state of solution, uniform dispersion, uneven dispersion or emulsion and even in a type requiring rinsing in use. |
