PURPOSE:To make a machine body of a planter follow a ridge regardless of the posture of the running machine body, by pivoting and connecting the machine body of the planter equipped with a planting device through a horizontal shaft to the running car body having driving wheels and providing a longitudinal guide mechanism for moving in contact with ground on the ridge in the machine body of the planter. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal central shaft 33 is driven through a transmission means 32 with a motor 31 of a machine body (C) of a planter and the horizontal central shaft 33 is passed through a horizontal hollow shaft fused to a running machine body (B). Longitudinal guide mechanisms (K) and (L) moving in contact with ground on a ridge (N) in front and after the transplanting cylinder 97 are provided in the machine body (C) of the planter. Rocking is not transmitted to the machine body (C) of the planter simply by rocking the running machine body (B) even if the driving wheels (E) are vertically moved. Thereby accurate planting operation is performed.
