PURPOSE:To reduce cavitation by fixing one or more rotary bell-mouths on the blade side plate of a multiblade impeller which is provided rotatably in the inside of a casing. CONSTITUTION:A multiblade type impeller 4 is formed by fitting side plates 11, 12 and blades 4B together, and an air intake port 11H is provided in the center of a side plate 12 so as to face to the suction port H of a casing, and a rotary bell-mouth 20 is fitted to the impeller side plate 12. The rotary bell- mouth 20, one or more in number, are provided concentrically with the suction port H of the casing K. Thus, air flow spreads over all the corners between blades, and the occurrence of cavitation can be prevented.
